How much will it cost us to use your services?
We can introduce you to a limited group of carefully selected credit providers who may be able to offer you finance for your purchase. Our role as a credit broker is to determine which lender on our panel to introduce you to. Each credit provider may have different interest rates and charges. We do not charge you a fee for our services.
We will receive a commission from the credit provider for introducing you to them, and we will also pay a commission to the introducing supplier or partner. The commission received is either a fixed fee or a percentage of the amount you borrow. The lenders we work with could pay commissions at different rates. However the amount of commission that we receive from a lender does not have an effect on the amount that you pay to that lender under your credit agreement.
Who do I complain to if I am not happy?
If you have a complaint about any of our services, please contact us as soon as possible. We will acknowledge your complaint within five working days. We will aim to resolve complaints within two weeks and to provide a final response to all complaints within four weeks. If your agreement is regulated under the Consumer Credit Act and, if after making a complaint, you are still unhappy and feel the matter has not been resolved to your satisfaction, please contact us here.
Do you only assist with business finance or can you also help with consumer finance for private individuals?

Can I finance a commercial vehicle through my limited company?
Limited companies, partnerships and sole traders may be able to apply for commercial vehicle finance. Eligibility and the information required will depend on the applicant and lender.
Can commercial vehicle finance cover several vehicles?
Yes, finance may be considered for one vehicle, several vehicles or a wider fleet requirement. Each application will be assessed according to the business, the vehicles and the proposed transaction.
Do I need a deposit?
A deposit or advance rental may be required. The amount will depend on the type of agreement, lender, vehicle and strength of the application.
Can a new business apply?
Some lenders may consider recently established businesses, although additional information, a larger deposit or a director’s guarantee may be requested. Approval is not guaranteed.
Will the business own the vehicle?
That depends on the finance agreement. Hire Purchase and Lease Purchase can provide a route to ownership, while Finance Lease, Operating Lease and Contract Hire normally work differently. Lincoln Finance will explain the relevant ownership position before you proceed.
How long does commercial vehicle finance take?
Timescales depend on the lender, the complexity of the application and how quickly the necessary documents are provided. Specialist vehicles, private sales or incomplete financial information may require additional checks.
